A round machine woven wool rug in a Persian style by the Rug Gallery. It has a scarlet red ground with an overall herati pattern featuring a cloud band pattern of large palmettes and foliate elements in a palette of burnt orange, salmon, mocha and shades of green. It has floral guard borders and a wide primary border repeating the pattern in complementary colors, and a sculpted, scalloped edge. It has bound seams to the underside with a full backing. Tagged to reverse.
