Two vintage 1970s Madame Alexander ‘Bride’ dolls from the hard plastic series. Madame Alexander, a brand of American collectible dolls, was introduced in 1923 and has a successful history of high-quality hand-crafted dolls spanning over 80 years.

Bride (#1534)
She has blue-grey eyes, curled blond hair, braided and beaded veil band with floor length veil to the back, soft white cotton lace dress with short pouf sleeves and pearl bead neckline, satin slippers with sheer stockings, white lace satin short pantaloons, and underskirt with attached crinoline for form. One of the slippers has a missing bow. Doll is holding a white silk flower bouquet with long satin ribbons in the right hand.
Bride (#1589)
She has blue-grey eyes, curled blond hair, flowered veil band with gold elastic chin band and floor length veil to the back, ribbed satin dress with bow accents to the hem and sheer lace bodice with short pouf sleeves and pearl bead neckline, satin slippers with bows and sheer stockings, white lace satin short pantaloons, and underskirt with attached crinoline for form. Doll holds a white silk flower bouquet with long satin ribbons in the right hand.
All dolls have hard plastic body with moveable head, arms, and legs. closing eyes when laid down, and styled silken hair.
Condition
- dolls have always been only for display and have been stored in boxes for decades resulting in flattened clothes and hair.
