Smith and Anthony Co. Hub Stove Circa 1900

An iron Smith & Anthony Co. hub stove, manufactured in Boston in the early 1900s. The leading East Coast stove maker manufactured equipment for restaurants and hotels, as well as the home, and went out of business in 1917. This stove features six burners and a side-loading oven with a temperature gauge on the front on an ornate, silver tone piece reading ‘Model Hub 6.’ This large piece, complete with a stovepipe, is black with floral accents throughout.

- some wear to iron consistent with age and use.
