A Christine Picavet signed and numbered framed offset lithograph titled Royal Battle. Picavet (1951-2016) was an American artist known for her renditions of famous race horses. Royal Battle depicts ‘Horse of the Year Ferdinand winning the 1987 $3,000,000 Breeder’s Cup Classic over Champion Alysheba’. The picture is signed by the artist on the lower right; and numbered 199/1600 on the lower left. It is also signed in plate on the lower left, and dated 1988. This print is double matted in beige and green and presented under glass. Set in a beveled wooden frame, it is wired and ready to hang.
