A handwoven nomadic Persian area rug. The rug features a central floral medallion in indigo, pale blue and mocha on a bright white diamond-shaped hooked lozenge. The lozenge sits on a mocha-colored field with starburst forms in the same palette. The field is framed by a rectilinear meander border and a stepped medallion band in complementary colors. It has overcast edges and a long, hand-tied wool fringe to each end. Unmarked.
