A carved mahogany four poster bed. Features four columnar posters, each incised and carved with acanthus leaf and turned detailing. The headboard features a broken swan neck pediment, with rosettes and an acanthus leaf finial. It also features delicate dentil and incised celtic knot style borders and inlaid matched mahogany veneers. The footboard features a serpentine style with repeated matched inlaid mahogany veneers and celtic knot style detailing. The sideboards both feature rope style detailing. The bed rests on carved bracket feet.
