A 19th-century oil painting on masonite titled Coastal Scene. The piece depicts the beach with two walking figures on the shore near a wavy ocean with the silhouette of multiple swimmers. The distance hills under cloudy blue skies are in the background. The painting is presented without glass and housed in a golden tone frame with leaf-like embellishments. This work is unsigned. To the verso, there is a handwritten dedication in Italian adjacent to the English translation. There is a wire attached to the verso and the piece comes ready to hang.
