An original signed craypas and metallic ink drawing titled The Changing Nation circa 1975, by American artist, Norman Laliberté (b.1925). Laliberté is best known for his wide range of talents including everything from painting, printmaking and sculpting to teaching and writing – who is the author of over twenty different books on contemporary art. This drawing depicts a unique, abstract design, slightly resembling that of a cave painting, featuring several Tibetan inspired figures that have been crafted using gold toned metallic ink on black paper with a hand colored background in shades of yellow and brown. This piece is hand signed and dated by the artist in the lower margin. The print is housed behind plexiglass in a wooden frame with a gold gilt finish to the front and a wire for hanging to the verso.
