A ‘The Orange Crush’ Denver Broncos figurine, which is made of cast and hand-painted resin. The figurine, made by The Danbury Mint, depicts five Denver Broncos football players, dubbed ‘The Orange Crush’, including defensive end Lyle Alzado, cornerback Billy Thompson, linebacker Tom Jackson, cornerback Louis Wright and linebacker Randy Gradishar. The players got their nickname from well-known sportswriter and broadcaster Woody Paige, Jr. in 1977. The figurines are mounted on a wood base, with a plaque at the center marked ‘The Orange Crush.’ Included is a certificate of ownership from The Danbury Mint, serial number ‘B8360.’
