African Bwa Duho (Hawk)

Item Details

A large hand-carved Duho (hawk) made by the Bwa peoples of Burkina Faso. The long wood form features outstretched wings and a single hooked head protruding to the middle. There is a triangular pattern across the wings which are painted with muted red, white and blue.
