A collection of bird and orb décor. This lot contains three ceramic, decorative plates and one metal tripod stand that is made to hold a decorative orb. The plates feature images of colorful swallows, parrots, and other birds over crimson backgrounds; they are marked on the underside ‘Not For Food Use, Article May Poison the Food, For Decorative Purpose Only, Made in China.’ The orb is vermillion with gold-tone wheel design; its stand features foliate elements.

Condition

- marking on back of plates warns that these pieces are for decorative use only and may contain toxic finishing.
