Item Details

An antique Confederate States of America twenty dollar bill. The note has a hand-written number 19227, and issued by the Confederate States of America (CSA), February 17, 1864 in Richmond, Virginia. The $20 Confederate note depicts the Tennessee State Capital building to center. In the lower right corner of the note, Alexander H. Stephens is pictured. A blue overprint is present to the verso with “TWENTY” to center and “20” to four corners. Two hand-signed signatures appear along the bottom of the obverse in brown ink.
