A collection of four volumes of The Works of Frederick Schiller. These books were published in 1872 and 1873 by Bell & Daldy of London, and are part of the Bohn’s Standard Library series. All four volumes are half-bound in red leather with red, blue and yellow marbled boards and page edges, raised bands and gilt to the spines. These books collect some of the major works of eighteenth-century philosopher and playwright Friedrich Schiller, translated into English. The four volumes in this collection are subtitled Early Dramas Etc., Historical and Dramatic, Historical and Historical Dramas Etc..
