A circa 1881 publication of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, ed. George Long Duyckinck. This book is fully bound in leather with pressed ornamentation and elaborate gilt lettering to the cover, raised bands and gilt lettering to the spine, and marbled endpapers. Small gilt flowers adorn turn ins and gilt lines decorate the edges. This book features engravings throughout and was published by Porter & Coates circa 1881.

- deep leather patina; some rubbing; some discoloration to pages; breaking hinge (see photo); inscriptions to front.
