Original John Dugan Oil on Board Painting

An original oil on board painting signed by well known local artist, John Dugan (1918-1996). The artist has painted a wonderfully pastoral landscape possibly a Kentucky scene, that’s evocative of the mid-west American countryside. The landscape is composed of rolling plains and farm fields that are interspersed with rows of barren trees awaiting the wake of springtime. The painting is beautifully presented in an original wooden frame with gold finish. The back shows a label from Closson’s of Cincinnati.
