Offset Lithograph After Vinciata "Broken Silence"

An offset lithograph on canvas after Vinciata also known as Joseph Wallace King (1911 – 1996). This print reproduces the listed artist’s painting titled Broken Silence, featuring a nubile young woman with long brown hair, luminous skin, and one partly exposed breast; she is seated high on a hill, with a misty landscape in the background, amid a palette of blues, grays, brown, and tan. This image was used as the cover for the novel A Time of Rome: The Empress Galla Placidia. Signed in plate, it is presented in a carved wood frame, including wire on the back for hanging and an attached lamp. The lamp has been tested and powers on.
Condition
- there is some staining to the print; some minor wear to frame with separation at top corners of molding.
