An original acrylic on canvas painting by mid twentieth century artist Tom Potenza. This abstract work relies heavily on the techniques of the Impressionist period to create an image of small boats on a choppy body of water with their flags extended proudly in the fierce breeze. The work is signed to the lower right by the artist. The date is unknown. The canvas is presented in a weathered wood frame.
