Item Details
A vintage hand-painted Chinese four-panel folding screen. The base of this screen is made of large sheets of wood with painted black finish and folding hinges. The face of the screen has a hand-painted gouache on silver leaf painting of bright blue kingfishers flitting around a series of large lotus. Olive and gold silk brocade lines the outside of the piece. Chinoiserie metal hooks for hanging are attached to the top of each panel. The piece is unmarked.

- a few very light scratches to piece.

- measured folded for shipping. Unfolded and laid flat, the piece measures 71.5" W x 35.5" H.
