Ray Day Signed 'American Landmarks' Sample Houses
Item Details
A pair of signed sample village houses from American artist Ray Day (1939 – ). Day created the ‘American Landmarks’ collection of hand-painted miniature sculptures as well as working with transparent watercolor on porcelain. (See link.) One is labeled on the base ‘Falls Mill’ and is signed by Ray Day and dated 10-27-2007. The other is labeled ‘Tom Sawyer’s Island’ and is signed and dated 10-27-2007. Both are marked sample.
Condition
No chips noted at time of cataloging. Tiny nick at the top corner of Falls Mill House.
