An original oil painting on canvas by listed artist Warren T. Mansfield (20th century). This seascape depicts the dark sea, tumultuous under the heavy gray sky as it’s white-crested waves battle the jagged boulders near the shore. Signed in paint to lower right, this work is mounted in a stunning gilt frame with hanging wire present to verso. Please see link below for more information about this artist.
Condition
- to fair. Craquelure present throughout surface of work. Small 1" vertical tear to center of work, which has been patched with scotch tape to verso.
