An original, antique oil painting on canvas titled A New England Stream by listed artist George Albert Frost (1843-1907). This painting, created just two years before the artist’s death, depicts a small, shallow stream dotted with river rocks, and flanked by stunning, overgrown foliage as though painted during the heart of spring. Signed and dated 1905 to lower left, this painting is mounted in a gilt frame with floral gold foil interior border and hanging wire present to verso.
