An abstract watercolor and charcoal painting on paper by highly regarded artist Jane Rosen (New York, California; b. 1950), dated 1986. This work features squiggled lines delineated in black and brown, forming abstract figures, and filled with bleeding browns, grays, and blues. The work is signed, dated, and dedicated ‘to Tom’ in the lower right corner. Displayed under glass and mounted on a white surface in a beige wood frame.

Jane Rosen is a contemporary artist known for her sculptures, drawings, and printmaking. Her work has been collected by multiple institutions including the Brooklyn Museum; the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York; the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego; and the Aspen Art Museum, among others.
