Item Details
A pair of 1920s-style black evening dresses. The pair includes a black satin floor-length gown, with a halter top bodice that ties behind the neck, and features black beaded shoulder straps. The dress zips up the back. Also included is a shorter, approximately shin-length, black satin sleeveless dress. The dress has wide shoulder straps and a V-neckline, with a center seam. The dress has a drop waist and a tiered, ruffled, asymmetrical hem, which is trimmed with black lace netting. No maker’s marks. The dress has snaps up the side. Condition
- long halter dress has loose shoulder strap on left side, but still intact; loose threads along waist
- short dress has some loose threads; wear
- both would benefit from steaming and/or cleaning
