Tufted Victorian Chair

An upholstered tufted Victorian chair. This tufted high back Victorian arm chair comprises a carved wooden frame finished in a dark brown stain with a carved floral design at the top. The back of the chair is upholstered with channels and has nine tufts. The arms of the chair have channels and tufts with wooden claw arms. The chair has a tight seat and the gold damask woven floral upholstery is finished at the edges with gold gimp. It sits on straight back legs and curved front legs with claw feet. The word ‘Victorian’ is stamped on the underside of the chair.

Condition

- scratches to finish. Upholstery is worn. Springs are loose and coming out of the bottom of the chair. Seat is sunken.
