Antique Hanging Apothecary Show Globe
Item Details
An antique hanging apothecary show globe, circa late-nineteenth century. Apothecary show globes were hung in the window of a pharmacy and were usually filled with colorful liquid. This globe has brass tone fittings with acanthus leaves etched in relief and comes with a matching brass tone swiveling arm and bracket which mounts to the wall and from which the globe hangs via a chain. Two additional L-shaped wall brackets are included, as well as, what appears to be, the original mounting screws.

- some tarnish to metal and finish wear consistent with age.
