An art glass vase by Western North Carolina artist David Wilson. The vase is dated to 1993 and features a complex black and white pattern to the exterior which contrasts with a vivid red to the inside. The vase is etched ‘David Wilson 1993’ to the underside. Wilson is an award winning artist who has worked with art glass since 1981. He resides and works in Burnsville, North Carolina with his wife, the artist Loretta Forde. Wilson has a long professional association with the Penland School of Craft, as both a student and teacher.
