A late 19th-century Italian gilt wood curule chair having a carved acanthus horizontal back splat with an upholstered, spring coiled cushion, two Egyptian-style finial busts, curved arms with floral cartouches at either end, upholstered seat with chintz floral patterns, and an X-frame base with stretchers.

Condition

- to Fair; wear consistent with age. Torn upholstery at seat and back. Wear to gilt finish. One of the feet is partially broken.
