Raul Russo Original Oil Painting on Canvas Beach Scene
Item Details
An original oil painting on canvas of a beach scene by listed Argentinian artist Raul Russo (1912 – 1984), created in 1960. Depicted in an impressionist manner are two figures, a male, and female, seated on a beach under an umbrella. This piece is signed in red paint to the lower right. This piece comes presented in a wooden floating frame; to the verso an inscription reads ‘Russo/ 1960’. A horizontal hanging wire is present to the verso and this piece comes ready to hang.
Condition
- minor wear to frame; canvas backing appears to be relined.
