Item Details
A Halcyon Days enamel hinged lid trinket box. There is a hot air balloon on the outside lid. The inside reads ‘M. Pilatre de Rozier and M. Romain ascending from Calais in the ’Aero-Montgolfiere’ on the morning of June 15 1785.’ The picture inside is the balloon over the ocean with a sailboat. It is made in Bilston, England.
