Vintage Chinese Tianjin Cloisonné Mantel Clock
Item Details
A vintage Chinese Tianjin cloisonné mantle clock. Marked ‘Made in the People’s Republic of China Tianjin’ to the back, the clock features cloisonné designs with a light blue background and colorful scrolled leaf, flower, and heart designs throughout. A protective piece of beveled glass stands in front of the round clock face. The clock face features Roman numerals for the hour markings and Arabic numerals to indicate the minutes. Both sides of the clock are hand-painted enamel panels with images of nude female figures reclinging and eating grapes. The clock is battery operated.

Condition
Signs of wear. The clock was not running when cataloged, requires a new battery. The battery slot shows signs of wear and tarnish. One of the knobs on the top of the clock is missing.
