Tony Rubey Limited Edition Lithograph on Paper "Bridge Barrier"
Item Details
A limited edition lithograph on deckle-edged paper titled Bridge Barrier by contemporary Cincinnati artist Tony Rubey (1952). The work depicts a variety of pastel shapes and patterns with a blue border. In pencil, the work is titled to the lower left, numbered with its edition to the lower center, and signed to the lower right. The print is number 5 in an edition of 8. Within a floating mat under a single layer of white mat board, the item is presented under glass and housed in a simple wood frame. To the verso is a label for the Toni Birckhead Gallery and a property label for Scripps Howard, Inc. While the item is not yet ready to hang, a pair of d-rings are present to the verso.
Condition
- tears present to paper backing; frame mildly loose in corners, focused in upper right.
