John Pearson Limited Edition Serigraph and Graphite on Paper "Area Series: Triangles-W"
Item Details
A serigraph with graphite embellishments titled Area Series: Triangles-W, created in 1982 by well-listed artist John Pearson (b. 1940). This work features a horizontal arrangement of curved and hard-edge triangular shapes pieced together and filled with flat planes of muted and pastel colors. Additional sketches and measurements are drawn in graphite to the lower margin. The work is titled to the left of the lower center; it is dated and signed in graphite by hand to the right of the lower center. The print is mounted on a white background. Displayed under glass in a wood frame, the work is ready to hang with D-rings affixed to the verso. A label from the Toni Birckhead Gallery is adhered to the verso, along with a sticker that reads ‘Property of Scripps-Howard’.
