Item Details
A handmade paper collage titled Sounion III by listed contemporary artist Nancy Genn (b.1929), dated 1984. This work features a series of horizontal lines in white, tan, and blue hues. The composition is diagonally bisected from the upper left down to the lower right, separating the composition into a tan and blue area to the left, and a white area to the right. The deckle edge and imprinted striped pattern provides a sense of texture and tactile quality in the overall work. The artist has signed her name to the lower left corner. The work is mounted on a white background. Presented under glass with white matting, a silver-tone fillet, and a wood frame, the work is ready to hang with D-rings affixed to the verso.
