An original oil painting on canvas by J. Claude Depree. This depicts a child dressed in contrasting stripes, holding a stick upon which are five birds at different angles, against a mottled green-gray and mauve color block background. It is signed to the lower right corner ‘J Claude Depree’. This work is presented in a foliate gold toned wooden frame with a linen lined inner border, wired for hanging. The canvas is marked on the back ‘98804’.

- some minor wear to the frame.
