Cal Kowal C-type Photograph "Soft Color"
Item Details
A chromogenic color print titled Soft Color by listed artist Cal Kowen (American, 1944) dated 1985. The work depicts three angustifolia variations of Rudbeckia hirta , two flower receptacles, and one light violet clematis flower atop a surface of wrinkled white paper. In graphite, the piece is titled and signed by the artist in the lower left and lower right corners, respectively. Under a single layer of white mat, the item is presented under glass and housed in a simple wood frame. To the verso is a label for the Toni Birckhead Gallery and a property label for Scripps Howard, Inc. While the item is not yet ready to hang, a pair of d-rings are present to the verso.

- minor tears to paper backing.
