Vintage German Beer Stein

A vintage German beer stein. The hand-painted, glazed stoneware beer stein depicts scenes of hunters and other people. It has a branch shaped handle of stoneware, and has a hinged peweter-tone metal lid. Encircling the bottom of the stein is an embossed message, Wald, Wild u. Wein, das ist des Fagers Wappen fein. The stein is marked to the outside with the number ‘1205’. To the underside, it is marked ‘Western Germany’, along with several embossed numbers or maker’s marks.
