Two Alabaster Plates after "Le Porte Del Ghiberti"

A pair of two alabaster plates after ‘Le Porte Del Ghiberti’. The plates were sculpted by master sculptor Alberto Santangela after the famous Baptistery Doors of St. John in Florence. The plates represent two panels from Ghiberti’s ‘Gates of Paradise’; L’Annunciazone’ (The Annunication) , 1985 and ‘Cristo Fra I Dottori Dellla Legge’ (Christ Among the Doctors), 1986. The plates are raised relief sculptures of alabaster. A short narrative is on the back explaining history of the scene on the plate.
