An antique original oil painting on canvas signed to the lower left in red paint by artist Krabill, circa 1900. The image depicts a small cottage nestled in sweet solitude along the side of a dirt road, surrounded by mature trees and shrubs in a wide, rural landscape. The painting is mounted behind hand-rolled antique glass in a shadow box wood frame with a black painted finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.

Condition

- notable inpainting throughout image, especially to left half. Craquelure throughout painting. Wear to edges and corners of outer shadowbox frame.
