Trio of dog figures by Royal Design – The Morten’s Studio. Oscar Morten was a fine sculptor and produced over 300 different animals between 1931 – 1963. His figures are heavier than most of their size as they are made with metal skeletons covered in ceramic. Each of these pieces bears The Morton Studio hallmarks.
Lot consists of two Dalmatians, and a Chihuahua.
Condition
- to fair with Chihuahua showing a hairline crack to his head and a chip to his ear exposing a bit of metal. The Dalmatians are yellowed in color with the lying pose dog having several cracks to his legs.
