Rich Bitting Limited Edition Lithograph on Paper "Wee Bitter Cricket"

A limited edition lithograph on paper titled Wee Bitter Cricket by contemporary Cincinnati-based artist Rich Bitting. The piece depicts three musical staffs of a Japanese Summer Haiku fragment overlaid by a curved red brush stroke, that follows the continuity from one musical staff to the other. The musical staffs are printed in three vertical rows; they are situated to the lower left corner of the composition, against a white background. The piece is signed in graphite near the lower right corner; it is titled to the lower center, and numbered ‘9/20 VIII’ to the lower left corner. A pair of embossed stamps are located to the lower right corner. The print is presented behind glass, mounted on a white background and housed in a simple wooden frame. A Toni Birckhead Gallery descriptive label and a Scripps Howard, Inc. property label are present to the verso. The work is ready to hang with picture wire to the verso.
