An original oil painting on canvas by listed landscape painter and stained glass artisan Archie Sinclair (Oregon; born 1895), titled Hazy Fall, dated 1932. The image depicts a soft, blue, rural landscape of a small clearing in a lightly wooded area, bisected by a narrow creek flowing toward distant rolling hills, which are barely visible through the thick veil of mist. Artist signature is signed and dated to the lower left, The painting is mounted in its original custom hand-carved wood frame with a gilt finish.
Condition
- light accretion on painting and frame. FInish of frame is worn. Painting has been relined and dry mounted to wood panel. Small punctures in painting have been repaired and inpainted.
