A limited edition gelatin silver photograph by contemporary artist Connie Sullivan, dated 1985. The work depicts a woven plastic bag with unraveling rope appendages sitting on top of a rock. To the lower left, the work is marked with an edition number in graphite; this photograph is numbered 7 in an edition of 25. To the lower right, the work is signed by the artist in graphite. Mounted under a single layer of white in a floating mat, the item is presented under glass and housed in a wood frame. To the verso is a label for the Toni Birckhead Gallery and two property labels for Scripps Howard, Inc. A pair of d-rings is also present to the verso. Sullivan is known for her dramatic, and often abstract, black and white photographs. Her work is included at the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, Arizona.
