Fine Antique Southern Poplar Pie Safe

Item Details

An antique southern pie safe, circa late 19th century. This poplar piece features six pierced tin panels on the front cabinet doors, bottom drawers, and block legs. The squares of tin are pierced with a dot and pinwheel pattern, the same on each, with three stacked vertically in each door. Inside the cabinet are three shelves; the back right side has vertical board while the left is open. The two small drawers and the cabinet doors have simple circular knobs.
