An original double-signed early-20th-century oil painting on board. The painting depicts a pair of bright parrots on a leafless branch against a flat gray sky, the birds’ brilliant coats wonderfully contrasting the dreary scene. The painting is signed in brown both to the lower left and upper right. It is presented in a wooden frame with cast surface texture and gold-tone finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.

- to fair. Accretion and craquelure across surface. Light wear to frames.
