Antique Bible and Vintage Masonic Bible

A pair of vintage and antique Christian Bibles. The larger leatherbound Bible, labeled on the cover as The Holy Bible and the Bible Arranged in Subjects, with a Complete Concordance and Comprehensive Helps, is illustrated with maps and engravings, and was published in New York in 1904. The smaller, black leatherbound volume is a Masonic Bible, labeled in gold tone on the front cover, ‘Holy Bible; Presented by the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Of Freemasonry Valley of Alicona Pennsylvania.’ This volume was printed by the A. J. Holman Company of Philadelphia, and features a blue and gold tone frontispiece illustrating the structure of Freemasonry.
