An original oil painting on board of horses. This painting depicts a mare and foal to the foreground, both staring intently back at the viewer as a second pair of horses grazes in the background. In the distance, an enclosure contains a series of cows, while a small farm rests behind them. The painting is signed illegibly to lower right, and is inscribed in what appears to be German to the lower left, the letters indiscernible and unable to translate. Presented behind non-glare glass in a dark, beveled wood frame with gilt interior border.
