Item Details

A pair of limited edition Japanese sōsaku-hanga woodblock prints by Maki Haru (巻白, 1924-2000), the artistic name of Maejima Tadaaki. Both prints depict Japanese ceramics, the first a bulbous vase decorated with an autumn leaf, and the second a chawan tea bowl used for Japanese tea ceremony with an abstract design. Both prints are marked with the artist’s seal in lower corners. Each is signed and numbered in pencil in the lower margin. The prints are framed and matted in complementary frames.
