A colored lithograph on paper titled Prelude by April Foster, produced in 1985. Depicted in the central image is a female figure rendered in a forest setting with rolling green hills. The central image has a printed border featuring dried vines attached to each other. This piece is numbered 4 out of an edition of 20, titled below the image in the print margin, and signed by hand in the lower right corner. This piece comes presented under glass in a white mat and wooden frame. To the verso is a descriptive label from the Toni Birckhead Gallery and a property label for Scripps Howards, Inc. A horizontal hanging wire is installed and this piece comes ready to hang.
