A signed oil painting on canvas by listed artist Charles Vickery (Illinois, 1913 – 1998) titled October Day by Lake Michigan. This piece depicts a bright sun shining over a hill filled shore of Lake Michigan. Signed by hand to the lower left corner, the painting is presented in a gold tone wood frame with hanging wire and a descriptive marking with the name of the piece all present to verso.
