William Langley Original Oil on Canvas "The Duck Pond"

An original oil painting on canvas by well listed artist and prolific landscape painter William Langley (United Kingdom; 1852-1922) titled The Duck Pond. This lovely landscape depicts a woman with two children standing on tree-lined bank of a small inlet, their eyes fixated on a row of ducks, swimming directly toward them. The painting is signed to lower left and is presented in an ornate, gilt cast gesso frame with a small gilt plate to bottom of frame inscribed with the artist’s name and title of the piece.
